• Carrying out top-level experimental (luminescence spectroscopy) research and development work in the field of optical and scintillation materials.
• Participation in scientific conferences and presentation of research results.
• Networking and international cooperation based on and expanding the existing competence of UT.
• Carrying out applied research in cooperation with the private or public sector.
• Teaching according to UT requirements.
• Supervising students and PhD candidates in the field of optical and scintillation materials, synthesis of materials using soft-chemistry methods.

• Internationally renowned research experience in the field of experimental (luminescence spectroscopy) studies of optical and scintillation materials including publications in high-level scientific journals, being as a lead author.
• Proficiency in planning and managing research.
• Ability to attract private and public funding.
• Previous teaching and supervising experience at least at postgraduate level.

Developing internationally competitive experimental research in the field of optical and scintillation materials by luminescence spectroscopy and other methods.

Supervising students and PhD candidates in the field optical and scintillation materials.

• Employment relationship for an indefinite period.
• Gross monthly salary based on a 40-hour working week, depending on previous education and number of years of relevant work experience.
• Annual leave 42 days.
