Biotechnology (including Bioengineering, Biophysical chemistry, Bioinorganic chemistry,
Bio-sensing, Bio-imaging, etc.).


4. Qualifications
Applicants are required to have a Ph.D. or doctoral degree, and to have teaching ability both
in Japanese and English. Applicants are expected to have superb research achievements
and enough educational experiences in a cutting-edge Biotechnology field. Applicants are
also expected to participate in administration of our school.


5. Expected start date
April 1, 2018, or the earliest date thereafter.


6. Documents to be submitted


(1) Curriculum vitae (with photograph, telephone number, and e-mail and mailing address)
including educational records, professional career records, activity records in academic
society and awards.


(2) Summary of research publications including (i) numbers of research publications
categorized into the following two types (refereed (peer-reviewed) original articles and
review articles), patents and other papers, (ii) list of high-impact journal names, and (iii)
h-index of the applicant with the name of database used.


(3) A list of research publications categorized into the following two types (refereed
(peer-reviewed) original articles and review articles), patents and other papers. The number
of citations and impact factor of the journal for each paper should be provided in the list.


(4) Reprints or copies of five significant articles (original papers and/or review articles).


(5) Brief statement of the applicant’s research interests, including their appealing points (~2
pages in A4-size sheet).


(6) Perspectives for future researches (1 page in A4-size sheet).


(7) Educational experiences and policy (1 page in A4-size sheet).


(8) List of acquired research funds (including the names of the funds, project titles, amounts,
periods of research, and allotted amounts (if not the principal researcher)) in the last decade.


(9) Administrative contributions to the applicant’s faculty.


(10) Activity in academic societies and other social activities.


(11) Contact information of at least four reference persons (affiliation, telephone number and
e-mail address).


(12) USB memory or CD-ROM including electronic data of the above documents.
