Job DescriptionThe University of Michigan-Dearborn seeks a part-time non-tenure track lecturer to teach Environmental Law, (ENST/POL 445), a three-credit course that meets once a week. Some of the students in the Environmental Studies program are required to take the course and others may take it as an elective, depending on their Focus Area. Students in the Political Science program may enroll in the course as an elective.

 

Desired Qualifications*

 

We desire an individual with experience instructing upper division undergraduate students in the context of Environmental Studies. Minimum qualifications: MS degree in Environmental Studies, Law, or a closely related field. An individual with broad knowledge and experience in environmental law as a practioner and/or academician is expected. Good communication skills will be necessary to engage students in classroom discussion and dialogue, and suitable organization skills will be needed to use electronic delivery methods in the classroom and to communicate with students between class sessions.
