We are looking for a dynamic, proven researcher whose research focuses on material physics. The range of possible orientations should strengthen and expand the existing activities in the field of material physics and nanophysics at the Institute of Materials Physics and the Department of Physics of the University of Münster. Desirable research focuses are the analysis of material-physical processes with innovative methods, for example with novel transmission electron microscopy methods. Participation in the main research areas of the department is desired; The willingness to actively participate in existing interdisciplinary research structures (eg CeN-Tech, SoN or CiM) and their further development is expressly desired. The successful candidate should represent the subject material physics, as well as experimental physics, to a reasonable extent in teaching and participate in the academic self-government of the university. Proven teaching experience in the field of materials physics is particularly desirable.

 

Prerequisites for application are a university degree, pedagogical aptitude, doctoral and scientific achievements, which are part of a junior professorship, a habilitation or a job as a research assistant at a university or non-university institution or in the context of a scientific activity in business, Administration or in another social field at home and abroad.
