Lane College invites applications for a part-time Adjunct Instructor of Chemistry to teach General Chemistry I and II lecture and laboratory courses. 


The Chemistry Department emphasizes using active-learning to create an inclusive environment for a diverse student body.  Lane Employees should demonstrate a desire to empower, motivate, and positively influence the lives of students, and create a positive community that promotes academic and personal success.





Master’s Degree in Chemistry, with 18 graduate credit hours in Chemistry or related discipline form a regionally accredited institution.

Ph.D. in Chemistry or closely related field is preferred.

Evidence of teaching potential is essential.

The ability to life 10lb, 1% of the time.

Position may require some walking and the ability to climb stairs.
