A postdoctoral position to investigate the role of the primary cilium in skeletal muscle regeneration is available in the School of Biological Sciences at the University of East Anglia, Norwich. The project, headed by Professors Andrea Münsterberg and Ulrike Mayer, uses a conditional mouse mutant to determine which processes are impaired in the absence of cilia, leading to sub-optimal satellite cell function.


The post will be part of a dynamic research group and fully integrated in a collaborative working environment. You will have a minimum of a PhD and a degree in Biology or related subject, and be able to fulfil all essential elements of the person specification.


The full time post is funded by the MRC and available from 1 December 2017 for a fixed term period of 3 years.
