The projects include: 1. Investigation of molecular pathways underlying neurodegenerative diseases. The successful applicant will work on large data sets from whole genome sequencing/exome sequencing of Alzheimer’s disease samples. 2. Investigation of molecular and neural circuit mechanisms underlying neurodegenerative diseases. The successful applicant will work on synaptic biology, neural circuits, and learning and memory. 3. Investigation of inflammation in neurodegenerative diseases. The successful applicant will work on dissecting the inflammation pathways in neurodegenerative diseases. Applicants should have a PhD degree in life science or related disciplines. For the Research Assistant Professor position, a demonstrated record of research accomplishments is essential.
