Applications and nominations are invited for the above posts: The Department of Physics at the City University of Hong Kong was officially launched on 1 July 2017, which builds on the excellent tradition of the physics faculty in the former Department of Physics and Materials Science. In the 2014 Research Assessment Exercise conducted by the Research Grants Council of Hong Kong, CityU’s physics ranked 2nd amongst all eight universities in Hong Kong. The Department of Physics aspires to become a leading physics department in the Asia-Pacific region.
