Applications are invited for the position of Chair, Department of Geography and Environmental Studies, in the Faculty of Arts. This appointment will be for a term of three years, commencing July 1, 2018 with the possibility of renewal for up to two additional three-year terms. Preference will be given to a candidate with experience in leadership in a collegial environment, strong administrative skills and relevant experience in teaching and research. A Ph.D. (or equivalent) in Geography (or related field) is required. The successful candidate shall be a tenured faculty member or shall be eligible for tenure upon appointment. Teaching is a requirement of the position.
