Doctoral Candidate Position in Condensed Matter Theory


The Department of Applied Physics of the Aalto University invites applications for a theoretical condensed matter PhD position in the field of the topological state of matter:  


The doctoral candidate will work in the group of the Academy of Finland research fellow Alexander Zyuzin. The research project will focus on the study of transport properties of unconventional superconductors and topological semimetals.


Candidates need to hold Master’s degree in theoretical condensed matter physics. The expected duration of doctoral studies is four years, but a contract is first made for two years and the extension is subject to advance of studies and research.
