Contract Instructor Opportunities Summer 2019

Pursuant to Article 16 of the CUPE 4600 Unit 2 Collective Agreement, applications are being accepted from members of the CUPE 4600-2 bargaining unit and other interested persons to teach the following Chemistry courses during the Summer term 2019:




CHEM 1001 – General Chemistry I

CHEM 1002 – General Chemistry II

Required Qualifications:

Candidates should hold at least an MSc in Chemistry, or related field, and demonstrate teaching competence in a relevant area, preferably at the university level. Priority will be given to candidates holding a PhD.


Application Procedures and Deadlines:

As per Article 15.3 of the current CUPE 4600 Unit 2 Collective Agreement, applicants are required to submit an up-to-date CV, and a Contract Instructor Application Form within the CUPE 4600 Unit 2 bargaining unit at Carleton University. NOTE that when applying to classes for which they have incumbency, applicants shall not be required to (re)submit documentation beyond their updated CV.
