Post-doctoral Fellow in Experimental Condensed Matter Physics
Applicants should possess a Ph.D. degree in Experimental Condensed Matter Physics or a related area, with experience in fabrications of nano-electronic devices and low-temperature & low-noise electrical measurements. Those who are expected to complete a Ph.D. degree before fall 2019 will also be considered. The appointee will pursue research in quantum nano-electronic devices based on graphene and 2D materials in the group of Dr. DongKeun Ki. Dr. Ki’s current interest covers a wide range of topics in experimental condensed matter physics, including, but not limited to, new topological phenomena, strong correlation effects, unconventional superconductivity or magnetism, spin and valleytronics, etc. Details of the research activities and the current publication list can be found in https://www.physics.hku.hk/~dkkilab.
A highly competitive salary remuneration commensurate with the appointee’s qualifications and experience will be offered, in addition to annual leave and medical benefits. At current rates, salaries tax does not exceed 15% of gross income.
