Assistant Professor in Advanced Particle Accelerators at the School of Physics

Job Responsibilities

Carry out theoretical research on advanced particle accelerators or apply research on advanced light sources, teach undergraduate basic courses and postgraduate courses / conduct theoretical and experimental research on radiation damage of nuclear energy materials, and teach undergraduate basic courses and postgraduate courses / radiotherapy physics or Magnetic resonance imaging theory and experimental research, teaching relevant undergraduate basic courses and postgraduate courses / fusion plasma direction research and teaching


Application conditions

Outstanding achievements in advanced particle accelerator theory and experimental research, or pioneering exploratory research on large-scale light sources at home and abroad, with experience and expertise in RF superconducting accelerators, laser acceleration and advanced light sources; or in nuclear energy materials He has achieved outstanding results in radiation damage theory and experimental research, has long-term foreign research work experience, published research papers in related first-class magazines, or achieved outstanding results in radiotherapy physics or nuclear magnetic resonance imaging theory or experimental research, with long-term foreign research. Work experience, published research papers in relevant first-class magazines; or obtained doctoral degrees in plasma physics or related disciplines, with outstanding research results, and experience in large-scale numerical simulation or fusion experimental diagnosis is preferred.

Ability to independently undertake national research projects and conduct research at the international frontier level.

To meet the requirements of the assistant professors of Peking University, the selection of the national overseas high-level talent introduction program youth projects is preferred.
