Educational Developer in Chemistry, Pharmacy, Science-Business or Education (SPHEIR) (Fixed term)

The Schools of Chemistry and Pharmacy at the University of Nottingham are seeking an Educational Developer to support a major multi-partner project which aims to transform the pharmacy and chemistry curricula in five Kenyan HEIs. The project is part of the ‘SPHEIR’ programme.


This Educational Developer Post will be reporting to the project leads and working with the other project staff, the role holders will undertake curriculum evaluation and review incorporating international best practice into the design and development of curricula for Chemistry and/or Pharmacy degree courses.


Candidates for this post must have a fundamental understanding of a broad range of Chemistry and/or Pharmacy science and/or have a strong background in Education. They must be capable of understanding the educational challenges of a modern, multi-dimensional Chemistry/Pharmacy programme. A passion for teaching/education of Chemistry/Pharmacy and excellent data analysis/project management skills are essential.


This full time post is available immediately and will be offered on a fixed-term contract for a period of one year.
