Tenure-Track Position in Air Quality modelling

Location Wageningen

We are looking for

Depending on the candidate’s experience, the position is available on the level of Assistant or Associate Professor. In both cases, the candidate will enter WUR’s tenure track program. The candidate will lecture BSc and MSc courses related to fundamental and applied aspects of meteorology and air quality. Examples include atmospheric modelling, urban air quality, and atmospheric composition and air quality. The applicant will transfer newly developed knowledge to our BSc and MSc students by developing new educational material and advising students.

Within the strategic plan of WUR (2019-22), a key focus is on resilient, climate-proof, livable and healthy cities. The research and educational strategy of the candidate should clearly indicate the candidate’s intentions to collaborate with related groups in the Environmental Science Group and the AMS institute, and other groups world-wide.   • A strong academic record and meaningful prior research experience;
  • Excellent communication skills in English, and open to team work
