Faculty position opening,Department of Engineering Science and Ocean Engineering ,National Taiwan University Office 工學院--工程科學及海洋工程學系 TIME 2020/11/26 上午 10:10:38 Content The Department of Engineering Science and Ocean Engineering invites applications for several full-time tenure-track positions starting from August 1, 2021 at all levels in the fields of Naval Architecture/Ocean Engineering and Opto-Mechatronics/Informatics. For the Naval Architecture/Ocean Engineering positions, the highest preference will be given to those with expertise in water tank experiment of ship/ocean engineering. Preference will also be given to those with expertise in structure, vibration, solid mechanics, acoustics, ship design, ship maneuvering, underwater vehicle, underwater acoustics, underwater technology, or ocean energy. Ability and desire to teach courses in naval architecture, ocean engineering, structural engineering, or vibration is required. For the Opto-Mechatronics/Informatics positions, the highest preference will be given to those with offshore wind energy, industrial AI or high performance computing backgrounds. Preference will also be given to those with expertise in electrical engineering, electronics, photonics, or semiconductor. Ability and desre to teach analog/digital circuits, electronics, electromagnetics, control, signals & systems, or offshore wind power generation, grid and network is required. Related industrial or academic experiences are highly preferred.
