DescriptionThe Department of NanoEngineering, which administers the NanoEngineering and Chemical Engineering undergraduate and graduate degree programs for the Jacobs School of Engineering, invites applications for temporary, non-tenure track lecturers (Unit 18). The initial appointment may be for a period of up to two (2) academic years. Courses may include undergraduate lower- and upper-division lecturers in the areas of Physical Properties of Materials and Mechanical Behavior of Materials. The full list of courses offered by the Department of NanoEngineering can be found in the online course catalogue Candidate must have a Master's degree or higher in fields related to Engineering. Candidates should have expertise in undergraduate and graduate education in Chemical Engineering and/or NanoEngineering, and can provide evidence of effective and innovative teaching. Preferred Qualifications: Candidates should have a Ph.D. degree in NanoEngineering, Chemical Engineering or similar advanced graduate degree, with experience in laboratory work related to those fields.
