Description

The Department of Urban Planning and Public Policy has an opening for a lecturer during the 2019-2020 academic year for the following course:

UPPP100: Geographic Information System (GIS) – This course aims to introduce students to GIS as a method for understanding and analyzing contemporary urban problems. We are particularly interested in candidates with experience in teaching skills-based course in GIS and/or geospatial analysis We expect the course to be taught in Spring 2020.

Required: M.A. or M.S. (Ph.D. strongly preferred) in a field appropriate to the course e.g., GIS and/or geospatial analysis. Experience teaching practice-oriented planning courses at the undergraduate or graduate level.
