About the opportunity In this position you will undertake independent teaching and research in the areas of quantitative genetics, crop/pasture molecular genetics and crop/pasture breeding. Key responsibilities will include teaching at Undergraduate and Masters level, supervising Honours, Masters and PhD research students, and developing collaborations with researchers within and outside the UWA School of Agriculture and Environment and in industry. You will also be expected to lead new initiatives in teaching, assemble research teams to attract funding from national/international funding agencies, engage with industry, publish high quality papers in leading journals, and actively contribute to governance and collegial life within the School, across the University and outside the University.
