Read more about our benefits and what it is like to work at Uppsala University Duties The successful applicant will be responsible for the synthesis and structural characterisation of a range of Prussian blue analogues. Both X-ray and neutron diffraction will be used, possibly under high pressure and variable temperature, as well as magnetic measurements and local structure studies using pair distribution function studies. A significant proportion of the research will be carried out at synchrotrons and neutron sources. At the end of the project, the candidate will have gained valuable experience in synthesis and material characterization of coordination polymers using a range of advanced techniques. The main duties of doctoral students are to devote themselves to their research studies which includes participating in research projects mentioned above and third-cycle courses. Some teaching and other departmental duties (no more than 20%) may also be included. Requirements
