| Phd Position in Physical Chemistry17.10.2025, Wissenschaftliches Personal Do you bring experience in working with lasers? Are you interested in working on method development in femtosecond spectroscopy in an international, motivated team? Then come join the Dynamic Spectroscopy group at TUM! About us Our group ‘Dynamic Spectroscopy’ at the Department of Chemistry, School of Natural Sciences, TU Munich, specializes in time-resolved spectroscopy to tackle challenges in photophysics and photochemistry as well as in material sciences. (https://www.ch.nat.tum.de/dynspec/startseite/). We work with (time-resolved) fluorescence, excitation and absorption spectrometers. We have installed three separate amplified fs laser system as the primary light source for transient absorption and multidimensional spectroscopy. Requirements To be considered, candidates bring the following qualifications: Tasks Construct and maintain a novel experiment for multidimensional femtosecond fluorescence excitation spectroscopy (2D-FLEX, see https://doi.org/10.1063/5.0156297). We offer A fully DFG-financed PhD-position for three years on a 67% basis (27 h per week, E13 TV-L). Severely disabled applicants will be given preference if they are otherwise equally qualified. Applications Please send your applications to Jürgen Hauer via email (juergen.hauer@tum.de) until December 1st 2025. Die Stelle ist für die Besetzung mit schwerbehinderten Menschen geeignet.
