The workplaceJob descriptionThis project will develop materials and methods for additive manufacturing (3D printing), of advanced electronic microrobots. These 3D printed systems are based on a nanocomposite hydrogel material which can integrate electronic actuators, sensors, and interconnects into a seamless 3D structure, enabling a new generation of fully organic intelligent system. The hydrogels are based on composite materials containing water-based nanowires like nanocellulose combined with electronic materials ranging from conducting polymers to carbon nanotubes and 2D MXenes.
