School: Faculty of Arts and Sciences Department/Area: Rowland Institute at Harvard Location: Cambridge, MA Position Description The nature of equilibrium fluctuations of ions, atoms, and electrons on pico- to attosecond timescales determines their dissipative properties and the ultimate limitations on device efficiencies. We are building an experimental system to probe these fluctuations in real time.
