The Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität München (LMU) is one of the most renowned and largest universities in Germany.

 

tasks
The applicant wants to be part of the string theory group at LMU Munich. Permanent faculty members are Prof. Dieter Lüst (chair), Prof. Peter Mayr, Prof. Ilka Brunner. The applicant should focuss on conformal field theory, supersymmetric gauge theories or topological field and string theory. There is a teaching requirement of 5 hours / week during the semester. Teaching can include the supervision and organization of tutorials.

Applicants should hold a PhD degree in physics or mathematics.

 

The salary for this position will be public sector pay scheme and depend on the candidate's experience.
