The focus of the study will be on the elucidation of shape propagation in pathological tau protein aggregation by dipolar EPR and NMR spectroscopy. The Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry will be hiring one or two positions, depending on funding availability. The Screening of applicants is ongoing and will continue as needed. Positions are full-time. The University is especially interested in candidates who can contribute to the diversity and excellence of the academic community through research, teaching, and service as appropriate to the position. Applicants must either have a PhD in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biophysics, Physics or related fields OR be enrolled in a PhD program at the time of application. Additional qualifications (required at time of start)

The expectation is that the prospective postdoctoral researcher has basic level experience and interest in protein biochemistry work, as well as experience with various biophysical techniques, ideally including structural biology tools that may include Cryo-EM, dipolar EPR or NMR spectroscopy.
