We are looking for a highly qualified and scientifically proven personality, who will be the one and only
Subject "Navigation", in particular, "Navigation Satellite and Reference Systems" in Research and Research

Applicants in several of the following areas are:
• Global Navigation Satellite Systems (GNSS)
• GNSS receiver architecture, robust signal processing
• Reference systems: global, accurate, long-term stable reference frames (ITRF, ICRF)
• Global Geodetic Observing System (GGOS)

The integration into the main research areas of the faculty and Graz University of Technology is
just as desirable as working with local and international companies, other Universities and research institutions.


In the field of teaching are foundations and areas of specialization according to the above priorities to represent. The willingness to and the experience in teaching and are expected
interdisciplinary cooperation as well as intensive supervision of the students and active participation
in university affairs.


Formal employment requirement is a domestic equivalent to the use
or equivalent foreign university education including a doctorate.

Key selection criteria are:
• Outstanding scientific qualification (demonstrated by a habilitation or equivalent scientific achievements)
• Excellent teaching skills
• Gender and diversity competence
• Qualification and suitability to lead a research team/university institute
• Experience in university teaching (eg supervision of scientific papers)
• Integration in international research (eg research stays abroad)
• Experience in cooperation with companies, research institutions or universities
• Experience in the successful acquisition of third-party funds

In order to be able to represent the subject internationally, excellent English is spoken and spoken
Scripture required. Unless knowledge of German is available anyway, the willingness to learn
provided the German language.
