Description of the WorkplaceAt the Department of Chemistry, research is conducted in all core areas of chemistry. Important research areas that make use of NMR include, among others, organic chemistry, inorganic coordination chemistry, structure-based drug design, polymer chemistry, physical chemistry studies of soft materials and phase transitions, structural biology, and protein conformational dynamics, aggregation and amyloid formation. Since 2021, Lund University has invested significant resources in the development of a purpose-built NMR centre located at the Department of Chemistry (KILU). The NMR centre is equipped with three instruments:
