Stipendiary Lecturership in Organic Chemistry



Brasenose College wishes to appoint a six-hour Stipendiary Lecturer in Organic Chemistry for three terms from 1st October 2019 to 30th September 2020. The person appointed will be expected to teach the core organic chemistry across years 1–3. Course details may be found on the Chemistry Department’s website:


The person appointed will participate in admissions procedures and open days, and will assist generally in the running of Chemistry in Brasenose, in collaboration with the Chemistry Fellows. The person appointed will also be expected to undertake organisational responsibilities including setting and marking Collections, the pastoral supervision of undergraduates, and other general duties associated with the tutorial system.


The salary scale will be within the range £13,513 to £15,198 per annum (current rates), according to qualifications and experience.
