Visiting Assistant Teaching Professor in Chemistry Villanova University, Department of Chemistry United States

Position Summary:         

The successful candidate will teach undergraduate lecture and laboratory courses, with additional responsibilities at the graduate level as appropriate.

Duties and Responsibilities:        

Teaching undergraduate chemistry lecture and laboratory courses is expected, with additional oportunities at the graduate level as appropriate. Developing undergraduate laboratory experiments and/or assessment based classroom methods/content/activities is expected as well. Opportunities to teach inter- and/or cross- disciplinary courses will vary with interest and need.

 

Minimum Qualifications:              

An advanced degree (MS, PhD) in chemistry, biochemistry, or a closely related field, and 4-6 years of teaching experience at the postsecondary level are required. Demonstrable evidence in developing and implementing lecture and laboratory assessment based curricula should be provided.

 

Preferred Qualifications:              

Post-doctoral experience is preferred.
